Almost all our Propane tanks have a gauge located on the tank. View the photos below to determine how to read the propane tank located on your property. Most propane tank gauges read anywhere from 5% to 90%. To determine how much gas is in your propane tank, multiply the outage reading by the capacity of the tank.
For Example
A 500 gallon propane tank at 40% = 500 x 0.4 = 200 gallons remaining in the tank.
These figures are approximate and can only be used to determine estimated gallons in the tank.
Please Note: Temperature and gauge accuracy may make some readings unreliable.
